I got this last weekend, it was a pretty good deal. Seemingly a waste of money if it's dead. Looked really great the first 2 days and all of a sudden today it's not doing well. Should I just take it out and cut my loses or can it be saved? Shouldn't have bought it as I've got prazipro going in tank due to a flukes problem. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Lapse in judgment instead of patience.

Agree on candy cane; looks like some tissue recession on right head which is often an indication of upcoming polyp bailout. Hopefully it is only stress from acclimation.

Personally, I've never had problems with corals when using Prazipro.

Good luck

Trumpets are surprisingly hardy, I'd say yours definitely still has a chance.

June 23rd last year I got this one as a freebie from the store I worked at because no one wanted it and it was withering away. Mind you this was in a tank barely 2 months old.

This was taken on the 19th. The other head got eaten by a crab, since removed , but the remaining head is thriving and split just a couple days ago.

I fed mine reef frenzy almost daily until it had recovered some, I think that helped a lot.
