My other acans look fine.

Alk 8.5
Calc 415
Mag 1400
Ph probe has been showing 8.5-8.7 even after calibration so i replaced the probe with a new one and it’s now reading 7.5-7.8.

Have been feeding them mysis twice a week. Last feeding it did grab the mysis, but that was yesterday.

Someone said theirs did this right before it made a bunch of new heads. I hope this is what's happening. GL

Pics look normal.
Acans should be fed 2-3x per week, with moderate flow and light and salinity at 1.025

It’s about to grow a bunch of new heads. Very normal behavior, i would wait to feed it again until it’s sticky arms are out, you don’t want to force feed it. just let it do it’s thing.

When one of mine looked like that for a whole month it grew 10+ baby heads.

Red one, back right.

Mine are doing this right now, Typically super extended and rivaling the size of my hammers but now they look like sps lol. Just keep an eye on them but you would be just fine

It is back to normal now. Thanks everyone.
