Acan Echinata aggression? Yep!

Caught my rainbow acan echinata blasting a chunck of leptastrea. Flares up every once in a while. Acan is ALWAYS the winner. (ignore the scratch in the glass if you can.....)

I didn't even notice the scratch till you mentioned it haha. But it doesn't distract.

Wow, those echinata's sure don't mess around do they? Looks to be a beautiful specimen though. Do you know what type it is?

Thanks, started as a single polyp. I got it like 6 yrs ago from Jason Fox, he just called it "rainbow acan echinata". Been a while since I've taken any shots of it (tucked behind a couple other corals)

Took a shot this morning, had to take a pretty severe angle through the glass downward to get over the Maxima, but should give you an idea.

Got it about 6 yrs ago, started as a single polyp. As many will tell you, nothing good happens quickly in this hobby hahaha.
