acan feeding

so im wondering what do you guys feed your acans or other lps? ive been feeding just plain mysis that i feed my fish. any special concoction that you notice works good?

I prefer PE Mysis and frozen Cylops at about a 4:1 ratio. Seems to work well for me but go with what you find the best feeding response. Don't forget to turn your pumps and powerheads off when feeding and turn them back on after 30-45 minutes, this should give the acans time to get most of the food into it's mouth. Also turn flow back on one at a time with some time between each pump/powerhead; this will encourage the acans to hold on tighter to their food.

My acans prefer mysis to pellets. That may be because they have choice. They will eat anything they get. A few times i saw the shedding from my shrimp trying to be eaten by my acan lords.

I spot feed mine coral frenzy once a week and they pick up mysis with the rod's I feed the whole tank every other day.

I swap up between Fauna Marin LPS Pellets, Coral Frenzy Pellets and Mysis once a week.

I've just started spot feeding mysis and in a week of alternating spot feeding them they look to be a lot happier. I'm gonna look at those pellets
