So I was basically giving a free for egg of one of the most beautiful rainbow a cane colonies I've ever seen but the problem was it that it's pending either stung by something and it is pretty being paint up lots of tissue loss but there are some areas were still holding on is there a course of action that I can take that maybe the best possible care I could give it to nurse it back to health I will send pictures here shortly

I've had both blastos and acans stung by other corals, and an anemone. What I did to help is move them to lower light and lightly spot feed. My issue is they are on the bottom of a bare bottom and are constantly moved by crabs/snails and cleaning. They have not grown much, but they puff up real good.

This is what it looks like some might be duplicates hard to tell with thumb nail

Corals can always come back. Best plan IMO is consistent chemistry, bottom of the tank, lower flow and don't try to feed it unless you see a feeding response, make sure the food is not to large as well. An iodine based dip might as well.
I agree with this I’ve had acans come back with full force after a good dip , bottom of tank target feed once a week with a thick paste of reef roids

It was cut off one of WWC show piece acans and I asked if I could save it. Its amazing looking really is I hope I can pull her back

I try not to dip struggling coral, but would this help my struggling blasto? Due to bare bottom it gets moved around and stung by other corals.

Iodine based dip can actually help. It's the harsh dips I avoid when a coral is struggling like coral RX, etc.

What kind of iodine anything special? Can you explain process? Never done something like that
Seachem makes a product called reef dip. Its iodine based. I just followed the instructions on the bottle. It worked very well for me and I also used it during fragging to help prevent infection.
