the flow i think is good, 2 mp 40's , TunzeTURBELLE STREAM 6105 CONTROLLABLE , gyre...

the mp 40's are on reefcrest and both max out at about 70% controlled by the apex the other 2 pumps are at 50% constant

yeah i dont know why one is happy thats been on the sand bed for about 3 weeks the others i just moved to that location they been on a higher rock for months

I will say that my acans are the only coral in my tank that have true off days. They are also my sign I need a water change. Totally normal for coral to have off days. Stay patient and try not to mess with them. If it’s been a while change some water

I’ll do a water change , even tho my numbers are good.... I know all my other parameters are stable I use the alkatronic and dosetronic to dose aqua forest 123+ in even numbers

Here are my other corals

It’s completely normal for a colony not to open, sometimes for many days however having so many of them in that state would IMO indicate some kind of issue.. depending on your nutrients and lighting your ALK may be a little high for them, every tank is different but in my system mine seem to do best at around 7.5-8.

Another key to Acan success is daily feedings starting when you introduce them. after they have established themselves and are growing you can cut back feedings to 2-3 times a week.

My Alk has been at 9.0 steady for the last 9 months , I guess I could try lowering the Alk but I don’t want to mess up my other corals , I going to try leaving them in that location for a few weeks. Phosphate are 25 PPB and No3 are 5-10

Have they always been fat and healthy until just recently? Do you feed them? Mine could care less about lighting and flow, I have 12 mini colony’s living in different locations in my tank all getting different lighting and flow going from mild to wild ;)
