I had bought this acan frag about a month ago and it has been doing great.
But the past few days it has been what seems to me deflating. My water params or good.
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Ph 8.2
Phosphate 0-0.25
The only thing that has changed is over the course of a week i have increased my tank temperature from 70 up to 76 degrees.
Any help is appreciated

Temp still seems a little low. Most people I think run theirs closer to 79-80. Also, acans like water a little dirtier.

Are you testing Ca/alk/mag?

Personally, I'd get your Nitrates up a a little, say anything under 5.

How quickly did you raise the temp from 70 to 76? That's a pretty big swing and might have annoyed it a bit if it was too fast.

I did it like a degree a day over the course of a week. My big concern is will this guy bounce back

I agree with temp being an issue. My acans do well at 78 degrees and my water parameters are very close to yours. The only difference is I have about 20 ppm nitrates (ideal would be like 10ish for me).

I would pull it out and dip it in an iodine solution. Micromussa are prone to bacterial infections.

I have a fairly new tank. Months after cycle finished I actually have to dose nitrates to get any growth at all.
I am adding fish slowly through my QT so Bio load is very low.

I have my acans at 78-79 degree and they are happy with it. Sometimes corals need a small amount of nitrate for them to consume too.

Im a huge acan guy most times when mine "sink in" they are being exposed to to much light try shading them under a ledge.

What test kits are you using? I question the Nitrate level at zero. That is near impossible in an aged tank. Plus as stated above corals utilize small amounts of Nitrate.

How's your acan frag doing? did anything else change other than temp? Lights, flow, etc...

Im sure this isn't the case buy when I relocate mine they shrink like that but plump right back up.
Have you moved them recently?

Plus your water is too could. Majority of people will tell you to keep it a 78.

Mine like ALOT OF FLOW AND LIGHT.

It was not doin good till i moved it up in the tank.
