Acan Lord with tentacles always out?

I bought this Acan a couple months ago. It's tentacles are ALWAYS out as shown in the picture. Is it an Acan Lord? And any idea why it's so different?

The shop owners' explanation was that he feeds his Acans a lot. It gets some pellets from me getting food to my reclusive Watchman Goby in the picture. I guess I'll try more food. I have limited experience with Acans, this one seems different though
