So I put together my T12 actinic setup. I did a 3 bulb setup. 2 actinics and 1 75/25 bulb. The look was good, but I really thought it should be brighter. So I mounted 2 reefbrite Leds between the bulbs. That brought the brightness up nicely. We'll see how it grows but the look of the stuff in the tank is encouraging.

I run a tek light 8 bulb t5. Two coral plus 3 blue plus and 3 purple. The colors on my acans are vibrant..

Im using two different diy leds lights on my tank and get different colors from each from the same acans. There is a big difference in all coral colors under each light. One light has a cool white look while the other is dialed into a cool white with slight purple hue.
Just a slight move of the dial though and I can go to blue actinic tank or warm white tank. Greens and blue corals look amazing under the leds but the reds seem to turn orange under leds.

Running Wavepoint HO LED's (1:2 white/blue ratio)
Never seen better growth and coloration on acans. Mostly all of my acans turned metallic looking after being under the lights for about 4 months.

im using a single AI Sol. im upgrading my tank soon and im pretty sure i'm going to use the sol and add t5s to the tank. i may eventaully add a seond Sol.
