This acan was in the tank when I acquired it about a year ago. Grew like crazy and then I got a favia in July that I think I put too close. I moved the acan to the sand about 3-4 weeks ago but never really bounced back. Today I moved the acan up from the sand to a spot about 5” higher. Appears to have lost some heads tonight. Any advice ?

Reef roofs about once a week or 10 days. Fighting cyano so I’m going slow on coral feeding. Gave him some today though

First take it out and inspect for any bugs especially underneath. If clear , dip in hydrogen peroxide and place back in tank in an area where there is Moderate flow. Lighting seems satisfactory. Salinity should be 1.025-1.026 and temp range of 78 deg

Reef roids. . . 2-3X per week

My son has been feeding his "juice" from frozen food with a pipette.

Thanks to everyone. I will try that. Should I go ahead with a dip tonight or wait until “daylight “. ?

If you are going to dip with peroxide do it at night when the head is closed just don’t get it to close to the mouth and then soak it in saltwater for a few min. I had to do that with some gsp when I was fighting algae
