I have 4 different acan colonies in my tank that are all not fully extending for close to two weeks now. I have done two 20% water changes and run carbon 2 times also. My levels are consistent and the flow pattern has not changed. All colonies have been with me at least 2 years. Never a problem before.
Nitrate 10
ph 8.0-8.3
Alk 8.5 (tested every 3 days)
Calcium 500
mg 1400
ammonia/nitrite 0
I feed TDO/reef roids 4x a day via an auto feeder. I also dose amino acids (quantum) nightly via a dosing pump. Once a week or so I target feed the LPS with frozen food (rods) soaked in amino acids (brightwell)
Any ideas? I am thinking of doing an ICP test as otherwise I am for a loss.
The tank does have a very minor cyanno problem but I do not see it on the Acans at all. It is mostly confined to another area of the tank.
Thank you for your help and ideas.
