Acan on frag plug

I currently have an Acan that has 5 new growths. Question is should I keep it on the plug? Move it to a tile? Glue on a rock? Or just pop it off the plug and put on the bed?

I'd leave it on the plug. Acans can be very finicky, at least they have for me.

I agree leave it on the plug before to long you won't even know it's there.

Just as you see babies along the rim of the main heads, those babies will grow and mature. Then they will have babies and so on and so on..... It will grow over the plug and on to rock it sits on. Frag plug will disappear in time with it growing.

Gotcha, it’s the second part is the part that confuses. So hear me out...if I leave this one as is it will continue to grow into a ball of sorts which would basically encase the plug?
I have another mini colony that is placed next to a rock. Will this one just encrust over and not build as deep a skeleton?

It may grow as a ball until there is no more room, then grow on to the rock (any solid surface)
