My Acans and Micro's do this in response to the light going low at the end of my light cycle, when a fish rushes by or when they are irritated by some unseen force. Try to notice the pattern, check your water parameters and look for too much flow in that area. If it's not all of the time I would say it's still adjusting and to just watch it closeI just didnt know if the behavior of the acan on right to be normal, pinched up like it is. It looks like the bottom right is trying to pull it self to the top left.
I didn’t know if it was mad or trying to work on new growth? I just never see the left side pull one side in like that.
If I could describe it, I looks like the bottom right corner is trying to touch the left corner.

They really do have personalities lol. You get to know them just as they get to know the tank. Then, after a while, you really know when to worry. My Acans were the first to let me know when I had a Salinity crash happening. Did a water change, everybody was happy. Then about 4 hours later, I noticed 2 acans closed up super tight and a bit of gray mucus on their edges. I reacted too late and lost them and a few others unfortunately. I learned a few valuable lessons that day. And the biggest was listen to the acansThanks! Going to keep watching it. I think I may be lights. My schedule in AI prime is the saxby settings and the intensity goes up and down through the day. I will be interested to see if it’s during shifting times or when lights are shutting off for night, etc.
Thanks for the help!
