Acan question

Hey guys-

This is my first time taking care of corals so I'm relatively new to the hobby. I bought 4 frags last weekend and they all seem to be doing great except the Acan, when I'm feeding my clowns.

Usually the acans will look very normal. Like this.

But...whenever I feed my clowns, the Acan seems to recede. And they look like this.

I usually feed my fish around 9-10pm since I get back home late from work. The Acan will recede for a good 30 mins and then go back to normal like the first image.

Anyone have any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

That's not actually recession, that is the acans natural feeding behavior. When the "smell" food is in the water they will extend sticky tentacles in an attempt to catch food particles. IMO it is good if they always have there feeders out. Nothing to worry about.

Oh gosh I'm so happy now. I thought it looked super ugly and that something was wrong LOL. I'll make sure to send some mysis it's way after feeding tonight. Thanks guys
