Acan question

Does anyone know a reason why these acans look like this? Sometimes there puffy and other times there really shrunk up and look unhealthily I usually spot feed once a week and all my parameters are in check

Poor skimming, high phosphate, unusual bacteria load, something from your hands getting into water, alk swings, delayed negative response from water change (salinity, oxygen levels swings). Very heavy feeding followed by immediate filtration such as bio-pellets, therefore unable to detect nitrate spike. I guess I don't know, I haven't had that issue. Your Acan is looking bigger than mine. Have this feeling you're going to be ok. Good luck : ]
