I have a 4 month old tank. 50g lagoon. My Acans and SPS are slowing loosing tissue. My question is why? I’ve read a lot but can’t pin down why...
Ammonia nitrite and Nitrate are 0
Mag 1380
Alk 9.9
Phos .18
Calcium 512
Temp 79
PH 8.1
34.5 ppt
And have stayed consistent. Macro is growing like crazy and my softies and Nem are doing great. LPS and SPs just wither away.
I assumed light after I lost the first acan and so with the second I got the magnet stand and put the second in 100 par spot (rented a par meter) He’s doing the same STN.
Pros what do you think? Alkalinity to high with the low nitrates? I only have three fish so I’m not over feeding and have done religious 10% water changes weekly.

Ok lets start with raising your salinity a little bit and your nitrates to at least 10! And your phosphates are very high, you'll need to get them in check.

Thanks! I was thinking under .2 was good but after reading again I missed the .0 lol. Shooting for .02 phosphate. I’m down to .08 now. Added GFO today.

I keep my Po4 pretty close to .1 but yours was definately on the higher end imo
