Are the skeleton red like they were dyed or red from algae? Does the red come off in the water flow?

Alk of 10 on a continuous basis seems a bit high.

Red like dyed red and it doesnt come off. I have to respectfully disagree that alk10 is a reason.

Try changing their placement might be getting too much light. Are you feeding them?

I have been experimented with more than 10 acan everywhere in the tank, same result.

Yes I feed them as well.

I have a tank full of acan frags and my alk is always around 10 so that shouldn't be the problem but my first couple acans years ago had the same problem and I found that it was the way I was dosing my 2 part. The current would hit them directly with the high alk before it got a chance to mix in my tank. Could that be your problem? Once I started putting the 2 part in a different chamber of my sump giving it more time to mix before going directly in to my tank I never had an acan melt again.

why is salinity 1.025? raise it to 1.027, and temp swing? water change lately? dip your corals!!!

I have APEX controller with 0.5 degree variant. 20 Gallons water change weekly.

I highly doubt that salinity of 1.025 is the problem.

2 parts are disolve way before going back to display tank. My salinity also does not fluctuate much, since I have osmolator set on small drop in water level.

If other corals in your tank are fine. There is something you are using or a condition like lighting the acans do not like. Acans are actually pretty hardy and fast growers.

What are you dosing besides nopox?

Maybe bring your ph up a little to 8.1 but do it slowly.

Dkh is a bit high maybe let it lower down to 8-8.5.

But as @defugium said they could be getting too much light & getting burned, What percentage are you running the maxpects?

Im no expert but I had a similar problem in my tank. I was able to save them with an iodine dip. I found more potential causes than solutions and never nailed it down. Mine grew great for awhile and then one by one RTN. I was told it is a worm so I treated the tank with interceptor. Problem continued. I stopped feeding them pellets because my tang was picked at them to spit out the food so I thought it might have been the tang. The problem stopped. Could have been the tang, could have been too much Fauna Marin pellets. One of they true frustrations of the hobby is even when the problem goes away you can't always put your finger on exactly what caused it so as to prevent it from happening again.

That is so true...

Very true.

I dont dose anything else beside what listed in the first post.

I dip them in coral RX, no success. I even spot fed them with meaty food and they eat but still receed.

All other corals are very fine.

Have you tried an iodine dip? I think my rtn was bacterial and that's why the iodine helped. If the rtn is not a result of parameters and the coral rx didn't work you may want to give it a try. If you think you have a bug you may want to give them a Bayer dip. I tried all the above until the problem stopped. Unfortunately the whole ordeal really turned me off of acans.

If the other coral are fine then it's difficult to pin point what it could be... The only thing that springs to mind is lights, placement & what could be irratating it...

Bayer dip? Isn't it toxic?

This has happened to all of us. It's crazy making when something goes wrong and you can't figure it out.

Bayer dip? Isn't it toxic?

Yes it is so do not put it in your tank. You can however dip your frags in a solution of it and it will kill anything that crawls. Then you need to rinse the frag with tank water several times to ensure none gets back into the DT. There's a thread that goes over the step by step procedure, I don't know how to copy paste the link or I would but it's titled Bayer as a coral dip.
