For the last two-three months my acans have been extremely moody. They would shrivel up and deflate and then come back and now they have just stayed deflated. There haven’t been any major changes to the tank and everything else has been doing great. My calcium and magnesium have been fluctuating a bit. Been doing 15-20 percent water changes and found out that my salt has a magnesium level of 900 after not being able to keep it high enough. Corals are sucking calcium too fast so need to get that on a doser. I haven’t noticed anything picking at them. Thoughts on what my issue is? Could my magnesium and calcium be aggravating them that much?

I'm no expert but I think your P04 and N03 are too low. Zero nutrients are bad (I have just recently found out)

My acan was the same and I started dosing KN03 (potassium nitrate) to get my nutrient level up and my acan is looking much happier. I thought I was going to loose it but within a few days of dosing KN03 it bounced right back.

I'm sure someone else with more experience will help you out. Just sharing my recent experience

With the instability in the tank I'd say this is a reaction to unstable chemistry. With the mag and calcium swinging I'm sure the alkalinity is affected too.
