Acans brown

I’ve heard of Primes having hotspots in areas of the tank. You don’t think they might be getting too much?

I doubt it, both acans are way down in the tank and the lights are mounted about 10 inches above the water surface.
I dose 2 part, amino acids, phyto

They look like basic acans. $25 when I was buying em. Red and blue. The green one.
Single nice acan heads cost $50+
Or they did. Like the orange one. Rainbows are expensive but u really need to look at em before u buy.

I think you are misunderstanding a bit here, they are having the opposite issue in their tank, read their previous posts. They started bright then turned brown/darker, which does happen as some rainbows dont look as bright in other peoples tanks and begin to lose colors, especially freshly imported and then cut specimens

Welcome to lighting and the world of corals. It's just the coral.adapting to the lighting and tank settings.

Yes, they look plump, when i dose aminos they open up nice. just the colors are off
