I'm trying to find some good info on the difference between the two. I have 3 acans frags, I know 2 of them are lords, and I believe the other is an echinata. The lords are accidentally touching each other now and don't seem bothered at all, so I was considering moving the other over near them until I read some more. Apparently the echinata are super aggressive, which makes sense because it fell on a candy cane and destroyed it in a matter of minutes. Clearly I am not moving it anywhere near the lords lol. Does anyone know care wise if they are the same? I have all 3 on the sand and the lords look happy, the echinata doesn't look as happy to me. If it is even an echinata at all. I am having a hard time telling the difference:D

The 2nd looks like favia to me.

Looks like echinacea. My experience is that they are aggressive. Keep a distance between other corals.

There are four major acan species. Echinata, Lord, Bowerbanki, and Hillae. IME, their aggressiveness towards other acan specie and corals are also in that order.

Awesome, thanks everyone:) Are they bad touching each other? My lords seem fine but if 2 echinata were touching would they war between each other?

As long as they are the same specie, they can be right next to each other.

She plays on orange is the new black but was also Donna on that 70s show

Yep minus the red and briefly blonde hair lol might be hot reefqueen in disguise lol
