Are there any major differences between these two types of corals? I would like to add some Micromussas to my tank but just want to do a little research first.

From the ones i have. Acan lords are more than twice the size per polyp and are more intricate in coloring patterns. My micro's seem not to be effected in brighter light than my lords. My red micro's are a brighter red than any lord i have.

as stated above, polyps are much smaller and micros tend to be more solid rings of color instead of "rainbows". I have had some killer micros in the past.
