Acanthophilia or Xmas tree rock?

The Acanthophilia is the one pictured above, the Xmas tree rock is below, bad pic but the best I could do with their light.

Acan $140, has slight damage where skeleton is poking through.
Xmas tree $110, but is a nice size loaded with worms.

in terms of price, get the xmas tree rock. with the extra 30$ you can get a frag of something else .

personally I would go with the acantho I love mine that said they do stretch out quite a bit but if you have the room they are an awsome choice

I had my finger on the trigger ready to get it but if you blow the picture up, in the left hand corner you will see the skeleton poking through, now I know that this is a common problem with them because of their sharp skeleton but I also know that they can recover from these injuries because they are so hardy.
I have to go out of town at weeks end and will go back to the LFS on Monday, if it's still there (and it will) and I don't see it any worse, I'll get it.

When I got mine it had a bacterial infection from shipping an I lost about 1/3 of the flesh on one side but after a few dips it is recovering very well and flesh is already growing back they are extremely hardyyou can see the skeleton on the back end still but every day looks better and better

Id get the christmas tree rock especially if it has multiple colored worms. not the biggest fan of the colors on the acantho, but for that price i wouldnt pass either.... I should shop at your lfs.

What did you dip it in, how long and how many times.
The reason I ask is because this same LFS gave me a severely damaged and receding Acanthophilia a month or so ago, it is hanging in there an although I haven't seen alot of improvement it hasn't gotten any worse.
But I haven't treated it with anything, just target feedings twice a week.

I use Coral RX to do the dips I did 2 dips 2 weeks apart and moved it to low light dont know if you can tell by the pic but I have it under a ledge and have started to slowly move forward
