I read this pretty old article (2012) about acantho corals, and I found this particularly interesting in regards to their asexual reproduction:
"What appears to work for Acanthophyllia corals is to place them in the shade, and when that is done they will typically eject part of the middle of their polyp looking for more light."
I'm certainly not comfortable doing this with mine, but I'm curious if anybody has had any experience with this? I've been searching for another article on this, or even better- a photo- but I've come up with nothing, making me doubt that this lis legitimate, but correct me if I'm wrong.
