You might know these corals as Meat Coral, Knob Coral, Indo Scoly, Doughnut Brains etc... These beautiful corals have recently been reclassified and currently the is no Acanthophyllia Deshayesiana show off thread so here are a few of my beauties!!

You're in Sarasota? I'm only about 20 min away in Venice! Come down and see these beauties in person! Send me a PM and we can exchange info. You could propagate. It would take someone very brave with an Inland bandsaw to be able to chop one. I've seen it done, just not very often. I've cut Lobophyllia with a bandsaw before and had the coral live. It really takes a long time to heal though.

These aren't mine but I did take the pic. I know they aren't near as spectacular as the one's above but I thought they looked really cool and I actually got a good pic of them. They belong to the Seattle Aquarium.
