Does anyone have one with feeding tentacles out 70% of the time? I have been observing it for 4 days.

I have one in the back that constantly does this. Is it normal?

I fed him 2 chunks of shrimp but it stil looks like it's always ready swallow the world.

Try smaller pieces. Mine likes 2-4mm pellets, I forget the brand, but specific to lps. They're heavy feeders, so if nobody is bothering it, feed it as much as it will handle. Mine when it was full wouldn't have tentacles out except at night. But that's a good sign that it's eating. Mine came in malnourished and took months to get it fat and eating regularly. It sounds like it's doing fine, but once a day smaller feedings of smaller particles should help. Congrats, it was my favorite coral before I lost it in a crash.

Also I don't see tentacles in that picture, just normal flabby happy acanthophyllia. That's what it should look like, fully inflated. Whatever you do, if it's fully inflated, you're doing a good job.*edit* I was looking at the front one. I guess just feed it till it stops?

This guy.

Its bit lighter than the one at the front. I am wondering if it bleached during transportation.

I will try feeding shrimp again tonight. Thing never stops eating. I fed it 2 times during the last 5 days.
