Acanthurus mata

Was at Mike Clifford's home the other night to photograph his reef. His Blue-throat trigger, with its attitude, did some digging and created a dust storm that ruined the coral photography. I'll return soon to try again.

Mike has a Mata tang that's about 10 in. long and fat and sassy. Since you don't see Mata tangs very often, I thought the R2R members would enjoy seeing a couple of shots. Quite a beautiful fish.

Cool fish, kinda looks like a blue line angel, but with a little different shape.

Mata Tang has that similar Discus fish striations ... IMHO :tongue: !!
