How much of an alkalinity swing in 24 hours is acceptable for acroporas. I mean in two dimentions, first to avoid necrosis or any stress potencial situación and second, in order to be successfull with the acros. Excuse me for the redaction, but English is not my native language.

I'm not sure there is good data on this. It may be that a daily swing, if it is the same every day, is OK, while changes over time are not so easily dealt with by the corals.

But in general, folks talk about a 0.5 dKH change as fine. :)

I tested every other day for 2 weeks and got 9.072 dKh every time but someone asked what the swing was, just yesterday, so I started testing 7 times in a 24 hr period. My swing was .45.
I dose kalk in the ato. I didn't know that it swung that much.
My corals are growing and coloring up, with good PE.
