So my reef had been hit with some problems the past few months. Finally seemed to get things turned around again and corals were looking better. About 10 days ago I made new alk solution for my doser. Did my test today and CA was around 520, usually runs 450. Alk was 5.9, been running closer to 7 normally!!
I realized when I made new alk solution I accidently made a 2nd bottle of calcium and was double dosing my reef with calcium the past 10 days instead of my regular dosing schedule!
My lps and softies look fine, sps some lack of color but that's been normal for me lately. I took CA dosing offline for now, replaced the wrong CA fluid with proper alk, kept the alk dosing the same but now with alk and not ca, and bolused 90ml of alk to raise by 1-1.25dkh. I plan on keeping the calcium offline until levels drop back to 450ish and test alk to adjust as needed.

Over the years I have made similar goofs -- actually much bigger ones -- and nobody got hurt. You should be fine.
Yea just cant believe I made such a dumb mistake. Was looking at my numbers thinking something isnt adding up right here then my error dawned on me and it all made sense
