Hello everyone! At my work we set up a new reef tank that was being managed by the LFS, but the store closed and now we're trying to figure out all of this stuff by ourselves. My boss is busy with other things, so now I'm trying to take it over until she has more time on her hands. I have no idea what I'm doing but I feel like I'm learning quickly. I'll probably have a lot of questions and I'd appreciate any help y'all can give me. I'll try to make a post with some of my questions about water parameters. Thanks, everybody!

Welcome to the salty world! Glad you joined. You'll find it is very rewarding (and at times frustrating but if/when that happens just hang in there). We all started where you are at now.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID). You might find it helpful to baseline where it is now, or whatever you want to do with your office tank's thread.

This might help you find people local to you:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

I'm figuring that out!
I was joking that I've been considering getting my own reef tank, and now I get to find out what I'm doing with my boss' money and not my own lol
Do it! Get the boss to write it off as a business expense by telling him/her that you need it to make sure the office tank is perfect :grimacing-face:
