Accidentally ripped Rod's Food package, how long will it last?

Accidentally ripped it during feeding time. How long will it last in the freezer? Or am I going to have to throw it out if I dont use it all up soon?

Just put it in another freezer ziplock bag, it will be fine.

Or any large ziplock bag imo. I think the freezer ones are a gimmick lol.

I have had the last two bags from them tear at the seams. You can use a fish bag to keep ice out or freezer storage bag

My experience is they freezer burn in a week if not sealed. I always put the original bag inside a big ziplock bag even if it’s not ripped. Then I only get out 1 weeks worth at a time and I keep that a seperate bag that I open each day.

Same experience here with LRS. Just put it in another freezer bag from the get go.
