I've never heard of a green machine sterilizer; I'll check it out. Is it essentially the same thing as a UV sterilizer?

Yeah its just a small cheap one that isn't shoddy like a lot of the cheaper ones out there. They are nice.

They make 2 sizes of the green killing machine rated for 2 different size tanks. When finished, yoy can rinse it our and store it for later.

To be forward, I think I may have started a phytoplankton culture in my reef tank and need help getting a handle on it.

I'd get a dozen tridacna clams. They'd love it!
Joking aside, you know what they say. Water changes fix everything!

I'd do 50% water change every single day, if not more.
