Acclimate by Reef Gently

The suction cups work just fine for me. I use them on the "inside" of my tank. For those who have used the suction cups on the outside of your tank, I'm curious why? When used properly, you can acclimate a fish with the top of the device out of the water - inside of the tank (i.e. the actual tank water would not cover the top of the ReefGently device). Route the water tubes properly and it will run tank water through the device to help "acclimate" the fish to water temp and conditions (the excess water would drip into a bucket similar to other drip acclimation devices).

It can be used very effectively on the inside of the tank without any cross-contamination of water. This eliminates any issues with the device falling off of the outside. Hope that helps a bit. Happy Holidays! :)
