So brought home a new fish. I want to start freshwater dipping before putting I. Tank. Do I acclimate first then dip? Or should I freshwater dip later after introduced to QT?

I temp acclimated fish first, then I dipped fish in freshwater and methyl blue, then into the QT tank.

I also kept my QT at 1.019 salinity so I didn't have to drip them. I could introduce them straight into the QT tank.

Do you see any sign of infection or internal parasites. If not, I wouldn't stress the fish out and possibly cause an outbreak of some sort.

Thanks. I do not see any signs of anything. I thought I seen cloudy eyes but think it is the lighting as it has blue eyes. Matted filefish. But unsure now. So might just wait to dip. And see how he progresses.

Meant to say. I will wait on the freshwater dip. And put right in tank
