Historically, I've had trouble acclimating corals to my tanks. I recently added a few new frags, one of which is a monti cap. At one time, I had this same species thriving in my tank, but had some issues and lost the entire coral.

Fast forward to now, and I'm trying to re-establish the colony. The frag was received in what appeared to be good condition, however it is slowly bleaching. It is at the bottom of the tank in the sand bed in my 50 cube - 18" deep under my kessil 360we. The Kessil is mounted approximately 8" above the surface of the water. Below is my recently changed Kessil program:

I feel my problem is light acclimation, however I don't know if I should scale back or go brighter. I don't currently have many other corals in the tank to judge how they are doing in comparison.

Lack of phosphates or nitrates is most likely. Can you share all your most recent test results?

Flow would be the next thing to question.

M. cap is tough and adaptable as long as it has the basics.
