So if I buy fish online and I don't know if they came from the same tank would I drip acclimate each individual baged fish? Also if I bought online different species of fish that obviously come in different bags can I put them in the same five gallon bucket and drip acclimate them all together mixing their bag Waters together and acclimate them with my tank water?

Not sure if it’s the right way but I’ve always acclimated the fish that I receive from a single source together at the same time. So I guess I’m saying put them all in the same bucket (assuming temp is same and from same source).

If your fish are going into a qt tank, some peeps will match salinity of the tank to the bagged fish, temp acclimate, and then introduce the fish straight into the qt without drip acclimation to avoid the potential of ammonia burn drip acclimating in polluted water.

Whatever your method, it's not hard to put a tiny hole in the fish bag and test the salinity of each before deciding if they need separate acclimations.
