Just picked up a Rhodactis, at least I think it is, the LFS didn’t seem sure. It came from and I have it at about 75 par. The spot I hope to put it is 150 par. I don’t have much control of the par nor do I want to mess with my other corals so I’d like to move it around the aquascape slowly to higher par till I get it to where I want to keep it.

How long should I keep it at each level and how much can I jump? For instance go up 25 a week, 75,100,125,150. This is just a ball park since I’ll have to guess a little on placement to slowly move up the par.

I personally don’t move my corals and generally put them in their forever home as soon as they hit my tank. The corals don’t seem to wilt at all that way however when I’ve done light acclimation it seems the corals just wilt away more often.
In terms of mushrooms, they will just up and move anyway when they’re not happy, I’ve had a couple of mine just ditch their happy spots even after years of thriving there. Currently my blue and a large mother Yuma of mine have been moving around, the Yuma has settled but my Blue seems to still be on the move for a happy spot.

I do the above now as well, I used to use the acclimation settings on my lights, but it always looked the the rest of the tank was stressed out upon doing so.. it's sink or swim now lol

Why put a low light shroom coral in a high par spot?

My advice would be put it where you would like it. Like other mushroom corals they can move if they don't like where you put them. One of the reasons you can't superglue them to rock, which is a pain.

As a point on interest I used to farm my Rhodactis Indoinensis and my Discosomma Cardinalis in par around 100 and they grew like weeds.
