I took the plunge and ordered some Radions and was trying to figure out what intensity to start acclimating my tank to the new LEDs at when they get here. This will be a bit of a change for my system as I am currently running a power compact fixture on the tank. I am assuming start very low with the intensity, I just was not sure how low.

If you are changing from PC lights, I would start no higher than 50%. I changed from T5 and started at 60% and ramped up 5% per week. I stopped at 90%.

I've used both the radions and the sols, and IME, the radions were much easier to acclimate corals to than the sols. +1 to starting at 50% and ramping up 5-10% weekly. I've gotten some great coloration back since using the radions in a short period of time. Good luck!!!

Going from PC's definitely start low. I changed over from 2x250w halides in lumenbright reflectors and I started at 45 then ramped up to 55 a week later.

Having switched from the Sols, where did you start at with the Radions? Where you running your Sols at max intensity?

Thanks in advance for the intel!
