Acclimation Box

Having a hard time finding a decent acclimation box. It seems that companies stopped making them and the one i did find (seaside aquatics) has dividers that leaves very little space for the fish. Has anyone found a decent one that is still available?

I have a local acrylic guy make them for me - they're nice and bulky compared to most commercial units.

Looks like Elite Aquatics has them in stock right now.

Or if you're in a rush you can use egg crate; I talk about that and other options in this article.

In a pinch, you can diy an acclimation box from a critter keeper from petsmart

Did you look at the acclimate from reef gently? I have one and use it all the time works great.

I highly recommend these if you can wait for them to be back in stock. It's impressively large and I love the fact that it collapses for easy storage. I have 2 in fact.

was just gonna say the same thing. its a pretty big unit and love the fact that it folds flat for storage. thinking about grabbing another myself. maybe theyll make me a three pack deal. haha

Thanks for all the replies. I ended up going with the elite aquatics due to it being instock. I needed to fairly soon.

The one that I bought from Billy's reef connection (seaside aquatics) the dividers slide out so you can make the box as big as you want, or divide several fish in it

I haven't tried it yet though so I don't know how good the suction cups work. I have a tang in QT now for about a month, so I will let you know in about 2 weeks how it works
