I am trying to restock a 220 that currently houses a purple tang. After adding a new wrasse the tang went on the war path which aggravated my tomato clown ect ect. So I believe I will have to use a box for future additions for their own safety. In the past I just used a critter keeper but it would be hard to manage with the depth of this tank. Any suggestions on the models available or diy. I am most concerned about the addition of more tangs and wrasse.

I've seen members on here use a "hamster ball" with an externally glued on magnet, seem to work very well, if I can find the thread I will post it here.

Yeah box would probably be a good idea. My purple tang used to be a holy terror and has since calmed down and doesn't bother anybody new or not. Pretty sure he was responsible for my first regal jumping tank. The second one he gave hell but that was over a year ago.

I think after everything that went wrong with the upgrade he is on high alert. Hopefully once everything is back to normal the tang will calm down. He used to be fine with me adding a fish too.

i bought mine from elite aquatics, the larger one. nice clear box, only wish the bottom of mine wasnt clear as i think that helps.
