Acclimation while switching AI Hydra presets

Hey guys, so Ive been running my 30 gal mixed reef with the AI Hydra 32 and used a tweaked Saxby preset for about 4 months. I changed the schedule to a simple preset that I created since a few days ago.

I did not acclimate the corals to the new preset using the acclimate function. Is this something that should be done while changing presets too? All I did was just lower the intensity as of today since my Kenya tree and Zoas seemed to sort of close up.

I am aware that changing lights require acclimation however is that the same with light presets of the same light?

I'm no expert, but I would think that a reduction in intensity would not require an acclimation period like an increase in intensity would.

I only reduced the intensity since my Zoas and Kenya tree closed up. My kenya tree has gone AWOL since then.
