I just drip acclimated my new six line wrasse - he's in the tank - lights are off, how Long do you usually keep the lights off before turning them on.

Most will say 24-48 hours is best. But, you can tell when he gets comfy...watching their behavior will benefit you and will let you notice any issues in the long run.

I would got 24 or a little more, actinics first for a few more hours, and then your MH or what ever type of lighting you are running

Wow that's longer than I thought- I just added a new sps too, is keeping the lights off for that long bad for the sps??

I want to turn the lights in so baddddd. Patience is the hardest part of this hobby.

I usually just turn the lights out for the rest of the day and that night. A lot of times its just the whites I turn off, leaving my blue lights on.
