Acclimatization of Snails after shipping

What is the method for Acclimatization of Snails after shipping when they come in no water or a wet papper packing. I can't see why dripping water into their bags is not the same thing as just dropping them in the tank after they are adjusted to tempature. Little help thx.

I always just place the paper and snails in a container and drip them, better safe than sorry.

shoot, i was told from a couple of online vendors to acclimate them to the tank temp and dump them in. something about the waste in the water I believe. That's always worked for me, no losses.

Mine have always came in water but either way I'd drip em for a while
