Hi, I didnt know before I purchased it's at 9.3 dkh at salinity 1.026. ugh. Is this how all the batches are?
My tank doesnt like over 8 highest. I wonder why it results this high, I thought it was supposed to be close to NSW.

Your tank doesn't like over 8 dKH at the highest? Why? What happens if your alk gets higher?

I have a mixed reef with some of everything. My alk starts at 9.5 dKH and goes down to 7.0 or 6.5 dKH over a week. I dose it back to 9.5 dKH all in one dose. The effects in the tank... nothing that I can see. Oh, sometimes a few polyps will pull in. But in 2 minutes they are back out. So I'm curious about what it is your tank does at higher than 8.0 dKH?

I know this is an old thread but I just did my first water change with AccuraSea1 and with Salinity at 1.026 my dKH is exactly 9.3 as well.
