Im looking to buy some test kits to measure magnesium, strontium, and iodine. are there any particular brands that are more accurate than others? thank you.

I always use Salifert I wouldnt trust any other. 1 drop can do an immediate color change to give you your result when working with the chemicals

I use elos and all i can do is say good things. Alot of test kits are like above, one drop and there is a change, but elos its a one drop and a completly diffrent color change its not like "oh a slight shad color" its like a bright green to a bright blue. Also another thing i love about them is some of the test kits come with two diffrent ranges. Like for say the cal you can test it in 50 incraments or 10 which i love. I test by 50's once a week and if it seems like somthing is off you can do a better 10ppm look.

Yes i believe they do. im not 100% tho

ELOS no longer makes an iodine kit, as the only lab grade regents that were available in our/hobbyist price range would only last for approx. 3-6 months once opened. All other ELOS kits have a span of 1-2 years after opened (as long as stored properly), so they decided to wait to re-release another iodine kit once their labs could come up with something that would be both priced right, and measure up to their other kits. Stay tuned. :)

I'd suggest caution on the Elos, I have issues with their Calcium tests running high and I have heard others in my local area having them as well. Mine tests extremely high, and I don't even dose Ca. It's always reading at 520, even my water change water reads 520. I rinse & dry the kit every time I use it so there's no residue, and no matter what I do it keeps getting higher. I am having better luck with my Salifert tests though.
