How long have you had this fish?

Do you QT new fish?

Did you QT the Achilles?

When did it stop eating, and prior to, what was it eating?

i have this about 3month.
i alway been eating seaweed on the tank, i dont qt my fish
just recently maybe three day now i see he is getting skinny

I see definite ich and perhaps brook on your Achilles tang. This is a fish that cannot thrive without proper qt of ALL fish and tank inhabitants. We need less blurry photos.

Achilles stop eating when so badly afflicted with parasites they just quit.

I also see infections of the fins, perhaps from flukes infestations. No disrespect intended but please use this as a one time experience that quarantine is a must...

Also they’re not a fish to be kept in pairs, that will not end well.

Swimming in front of the powerhead can be a sign of velvet.

HLLE can be common in tangs. That doesn't look like HLLE, it appears to be the backbone showing since the fish is skinny.

Have you recently added any new fish?

As mentioned above, it is critical this day in age especially, that any fish must be properly quarantined and treated immediately on receiving. Especially a system supporting fish as expensive and beautiful as an Achilles (I really want one myself). I am not going to harp because I fell victim to not qt'ing my fish when I first started. Also, as @HotRocks said, swimming in front of a power head is a very good sign of velvet, which is super common in newly acquired fish and can be fatal in just days... That being said, I have to ask, what other fish are in the system? do you have the ability to get a seperate qt tank? If not, I would start looking for a friend or maybe a lfs that can help you, because if it is velvet, it can take out more than just the infected fish if not all of them over time. If what we see is actually ich, they can often times live with it, as long it is "controlled". I am sorry to bear bad news and I feel bad for the little archilles, but I learned that if you are in the hobby, a separate qt system is essential. I have attached a couple links that might be able to help you. But if it was me, I would be reacting very quickly to have the best chances of saving/keeping all your live stock fat and healthy.

ok thank you for the information

This fish needs to be QTd ASAP, as he looks to be in very bad shape. Have you ever seen stringy white poop come out of this fish??

I added 1 beutiful fat Achilles tang to my display once!!! Within 18 hrs he was covered in ich, within 48 hours it was infecting my other fish and even though I have 2 tanks I ended up losing several fish including the Achilles, a Chevron, yellow tang, hippo, a naso and a goldflake angel. BIG MISTAKE! I am now very careful with my display and at everything. It's hard and i think most of us are guilty of impulse buying and going straight into the display.
