Hey guys,

looking to get an Achilles tang and wanted to know if bigger is better in terms of health and survival rate. I noticed that smaller ones don’t tend to do so good. Thanks

Proper health and conditions on the part of the seller is the most important. I'd look at a place like drreefsquarantinedfish.com

Smaller ones tend to be unable to survive shipping and larger ones tend to be unable to adapt to captivity. I find it better to go for a 3-5” sized specimen to have it survive shipping AND adapt well.
