Achilles tang

i have had my achillies for over 5 months not .. i cant get her to eat anything buy nori that i buy from the Japanese place around the corner .. i have tried her on frozen .. i even make my own blend for food for my corals and fish and she wont even touch that .. no flake no pellets no nothing .. anyone have a idea on what to do .. i mean she is not sick . she is very healthy .. just wont touch any other food beside nori ..

Nori alone is pretty good for the fish. Do you have any other Tangs in the tank? Have you tried formula 2 from ocean nutrition? That's the best for me and my 4 Tangs

yea i have 4 more tangs in there with her .. no she is not getting picked out either .. my sohal .. my lavender my jem and a moorish and they are eating like pigs .. she just swims right through it with out a care in the world .. i know its very good for her cause its red nori plus she picks on the rocks and on the glass .. just drives me crazy she wont touch anything i throw at her .. i was just wondering if anyone else has had this trouble with there achillies

try soaking in some garlic i was able to get some finicky fishes to eat that way ..

already do that .. 30 mins before it goes in the tank i soak it in my fresh garlic juice ..

trust me i have tried everything i can think of with her .. i have never had this prob with a tang .. she is just picky .. i figured i would buy her a mate but it would have to be at least 7" cause she is a solid 5" now ..

another thing i did was wrap pellets on a rock with some nori made a nori burrito out of it to get the fish use to the taste...

hmmmm have not tried that . thats a good idea . i mean i had to trick my moorish into eating by putting a clear bowl in the corner where she would hide when i 1st got her .. then she would pick at it some times .. so hmmm i will try that tomorrow maybe make her a sushi roll
