Hello Randy,
I am hoping you could clear something up for me.
I had started a thread in the New To Saltwater forum titled Haitian dry rock, I had asked the question is it necessary to use RO water when performing an acid bath or bleach bath and your name came up. I would really appreciate your thoughts on this issue, a lot of people say it is necessary to use RO when bleaching or acid bathing the rock. it just doesn't make sense to me when the rock will also go through a full RO rinse and then be cured in salted RO with scheduled water changes before being placed in a new tank with fresh salt water.
I do want to start out as sterile as possible, below is a pic of the rock i will be using for my tank, Any advice from you or anyone else with experience with these methods it would be greatly appreciated.
