Acriflavine dip dose

Hi Reefers,

i cant get my hands on acriflavine based fish medications, but im having access to pure acriflavine.

Does anyone have information on proper dosage and duration of the bath?

Do you have a picture of the label? Is it a liquid suspension or a capsule/powder? Do you know what the concentration is?

Hey Humble,

as stated, its pure acriflavine. So concentration is 99%+.

Assuming you are using Acriflavine Neutral Power, the dosage is 10 mg/L (or 40 mg per gal.) Make sure to dissolve thoroughly before adding the fish to the bath treatment. Or if using in a QT, mix in a separate container beforehand (don't dump the powder right in the tank.)
