I have a tenuis that is a greyish white on one side but the other side is green, what could be the issue? Beside the tenuis i have a rr rainbow loom that still is full colouration

Can you take a pic?

Kinda looks like lighter coloring from new growth, is the flesh missing or just colored different. A little clearer pic would help a lot to make sure.

Is that side being shaded? Also what are your parameters? We need more info about your system before anyone can diagnose anything

It is shaded a bit but the polyps are extended like crazy!

Right now the parameters are

8.75alk its
558cal
1287mag

Nitrate 2ppm
Phos 0.03ppm

Ill try and get a better photo and its just colored diffrently by that one spot. Even though it shaded itself the top of that side still hasnt lost color

Stress of some kind. Water chemistry could be off, pests, not enough or too much light/flow/nutrition, some kind of environmental contaminate. You would need to provide more information, and then maybe someone here could help. Sorry you're having trouble.

I know that in the past I had necrosis start on the tip and spill down one side of my acro. It was described as "icicling". It was because of an excess amount of Tin or other heavy metal.
